Aid Flows to the water sector

This document was prepared in support of the High Level Panel on Water and its call to action on the water-related Sustainable Development Goals. Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals will require governments, societies, and the private sector to change the way they use and manage water. To accelerate this transformation, the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim have convened a High Level Panel on Water. The Panel, which consists of 11 sitting heads of state and government and a special advisor, aims to provide the leadership required to champion a comprehensive, inclusive and collaborative way of developing and managing water resources, and improving water and sanitation related services.
